I watched the remake of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo the other day and yesterday I watched the original. I preferred the Fincher remake; it was a much more rounded and well-paced film. It was very very good and I enjoyed the original too. Rooney Mara was better in the remake as Lisbeth that Noomi Rapace was in the original. Rooney brought a really sweet vulnerability to Libeth but also played her quite hard too. Noomi just played her hard and I found it hard to care about what happened to her. They also changed the ending of the remake to bring it in line with the book. It was a better ending. If you've not seen it then I recommend you do.
