Croston Lancs Weekly, also known as CL Weekly, is an online magazine which includes music reviews, local UK Birmingham and Lancashire news, movie reviews, musical artists, and photos of bands and other pop culture entertainers. We accept submissions from Indie music bands that are not necessarily unsigned, but at least unique and deserving of recognition.

MUSIC SUBMISSION RULES

* Before you submit your music, please look at our other reviews of previous artists and decide if your music fits within the realm of of Indie/acoustic/alternative/rock/punk/metal. Although our tastes are wide in range, we will most likely be tortured if your music is in the likes of Britney Spears or Kanye. You have been warned.
**First Rule of Fight Club: DO NOT attach files, pictures, video or mp3s to your emails.**

Directions for submitting material through email.
  1. In the subject line: put "Attn: Submissions - [insert name of your band and album title]"
  2. Please email us the following information within the body of the email:
    1. The name of your band, DJ, or stage name.
    2. The genre of music of your band
    3. The album you want reviewed.
    4. Release date.
    5. Track listing of the album
    6. Link to your streaming service where we can hear your music, i.e. Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Reverbnation.
    7. Name of your record label. If you are not signed by one, we'll put that it's self-released.
    8. Link to your artist/band website and Facebook page. We'll be sharing the article on Facebook and be linking your band to the article.
    9. Add Croston Lancs Weekly page on Facebook. Let's scratch each other's backs, yeh?
    10. A link to an imgur.com upload of your artist/band's album art.
    11. A band/artist biography including (A description of your music and influences, where you and your band members are from and what shows you have played, any interesting bands you have shared the stage with or opened for, and description of your album which may also include interesting behind-the-scenes anecdotes and such.)
Again, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT attach files, pictures, video or mp3s to your emails. They will be deleted without opening. Not trying to be a dick; we can't be bothered to receive dodgy  attachments and spam from Nigerian Money Laundering Schemes.

Also, after everything is submitted, we cannot guarantee publishing of a review of your album. As mentioned above, even if it is music produced in the highest quality and environment, it may not fit our current repertoire of artists. We will kindly notify you if we have those objections.
