The government has put a scheme in place called the Property Level Resiliance Scheme where people can apply for grants of up to £5000 to flood prepare their property. I've found a company called Storm Meister who do flood resistant doors, they say their doors qualify for the scheme, the council want 2 quotes so need to get another company to quote too, only prob is that the other companies have a different seal on their doors which isn't as good as the Storm Meister ones. I'll get quotes anyway though and submit them for the grant.
